History:
Donald E Meklin (Dad) started this operation in 1958 with a pick and shovel, while running a chicken farm. When he bought his first dump truck the neighbors wondered what he would ever use it for! Brothers Oke and Kurt could see the wisdom and soon joined on.
After scraping along delivering loam and gravel for the neighborhood, the State hired the small company to haul hot top for the new highways and things began to grow.
At the ages of 10 and 11 years old Donald enlisted his boys and then later grand-children to build this family business into an earth-work company that can do it all from small jobs to large, we move the earth since 1958. Sadly, Donald has passed however Bruce, Eric, Judy, Oke, Kurt, Eric Jr, Josh, Isaac, and Ryan continue the Meklin tradition of superior work for a fair price.
